Bolton Wanderers fullback Paul Robinson is delighted with the progress shown by Marcos Alonso.
The former Real Madrid fullback is beginning to fulfil his promise at Bolton.
Robinson told the Bolton News: "Marcos is 19, he's got a great future, so we have to keep encouraging him and making him progress.
"It takes time because he's come in from a different country in new surroundings, so to get used to the players can be very difficult. But I think he's fitted in very well, so we're really pleased with him. I'm not so sure he got many pitches like that in Madrid. They tend to have the old groundsman out before a game cutting the grass, not patching it up."
