Robinson insists he's happy at Tottenham

Paul Robinson has underlined he is 'delighted' to be at Tottenham despite being linked with a possible exit before the club's Carling Cup triumph on Sunday.

Robinson has had a season to forget for both club and country but, after being recalled to Juande Ramos' side at the expense of Radek Cerny, played an important role at Wembley as he made a crucial late save to keep out Chelsea's Salomon Kalou in the 2-1 win.

The suspicion remains that Spurs may still seek goalkeeping reinforcements come the summer, but Robinson has left observers in no doubt as to the fact that he is happy at White Hart Lane and looking forward to a bright future under his Spanish boss.

"I'm not going to stand and say it's been an easy season, because as you know it's been a rough time for me," Robinson said. "But to go through the bad times makes me appreciate this win even more.

"You never imagine as a professional you are going to get left out of the team. I got my head down and worked very, very hard to get my place back and this was my target to get my place back for this game.

"I've got four years left on my contract and I'm delighted to be here.

"We've always been a team with potential and today we stepped up the mark and fulfilled our potential."
