Robinho tells Man City he only wants Santos stay

Robinho has told Manchester City management he wants to remain with Santos.

The £32.5million British-record signing left Eastlands on loan to former club Santos in February.

He spent six months with the Brazilian side and scored 11 goals in 20 appearances.

Robinho is expected to link up with City ahead of the new Premier League season.

But the Samba star has already expressed his desire to head back to Santos.

He said: "I hope to continue. My heart is here and I want to stay but I have to talk to my team.

"Santos have brought me happiness and good things."
