Robinho's Man City exit still a possibility - Mancini

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits Brazilian star Robinho could still leave the club after explaining the reason to substitute him after an hour in the 2-0 loss to Everton on Saturday.

The former Real Madrid striker's future in Manchester has been a topic of discussion for months now and Mancini insists the club is bigger than the player, saying that the 25-year old will have to adhere to team rules if he is to remain at Eastlands.

"I wasn't worried about taking him off because I had to change the situation on the pitch. I can't worry about one player, because I have to consider the team," Mancini said.

"I wanted to change the situation and if that means taking him off then I will. It is not all about Robinho. All players try and work hard during the week in training and that is the most important thing for them to do.

"If he wants a future here then that is what he has to do."
