Manchester City winger Robinho would prefer to see Inter Milan striker Adriano win a return to the Brazil XI than clubmate Jo.
Jo said: "I've been working well here in the national team and at Manchester City. Of course, Adriano has his name associated with the team, but I want my place."
However Robinho appears to have other ideas.
"Playing with Adriano is easy,' said City's record £34million signing from Real Madrid. He doesn't have the same characteristics as me and that helps.
"He likes to play more centrally, giving me more freedom to move. Moreover, he is very motivated and happy."
