Brazil striker Robinho will play no part in Saturday's friendly against England due to injury. Manchester City boss Mark Hughes made it clear that he did not want Robinho to play for his country but Brazil would not rule him out of the England friendly until he had been assessed by their own medics.
The 25-year-old has now ruled himself out of the game, admitting that he is still not fully fit following an ankle problem.
However, Robinho has left the door open on a possible return to the Brazil team in Tuesday's clash with Oman.
Asked whether he would be available to face England, Robinho said: "I'm not fit yet but maybe I will be for the next game."
