Robinho believes Manchester City need four strikers to get them through the rigours of a Premiership season, and ideally Samuel Eto'o from Barcelona is a key component. A deal has already been completed for Roque Santa Cruz, while Carlos Tevez is expected to arrive after his loan at Manchester United expires.
And Robinho is hoping Hughes can persuade Cameroon striker Eto'o to leave European champions Barcelona before the start of the new season.
"If Eto'o comes too he will add even more talent to the squad," Robinho told The Sun.
"We need four top-quality forwards because the season is so tough in England.
"I hope the club keep signing players with that quality. If so, we will be almost unbeatable."
