Robinho Man City confusion as he extends rental home

Robinho is determined to engineer a permanent move away from Manchester City.

The Times says Robinho is instructing the club’s player welfare department to extend the rental of a house in the area for another year. The Brazil forward, who joined Santos on a six-month loan in January, has recently paid the rent for a £2 million converted barn in Mobberley, Cheshire, until the beginning of next year.

However, he is keen to avoid returning to Manchester unless he is left with no choice by City.
