Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts says the players have every faith in the club's owners.
Rovers are yet to make a signing this summer but Roberts says the players have been assured by the new owners that they want to take the club forward.
"There has been a change of ownership and the owners have come in and spoken to the players and been very positive in their approach," he told the Daily Express.
"As players, we only see that these are exciting times for the club.
"We are not the first club in the world that has ever been taken over. The owners have been very open. They have told us they want to progress.
"Without a doubt we need to strengthen, but there are 15 clubs saying the same thing. No club now is saying, 'Right, that is the end of it'."
