Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts has revealed the club's owners gave them a pep talk ahead of the 1-1 draw with West Ham United.
Balaji and Venkatesh Rao attended their first match in three months at the weekend as Steve Kean's side drew 1-1 at Upton Park to edge ever closer to safety.
The duo arrived in England towards the end of last week, making a visit to the club's Brockhall training ground, and Roberts has revealed that they had a welcome influence with some encouraging words for the players ahead of the West Ham game.
"They came and spoke to the boys, and it was a real lift to see them around the place," Roberts told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"They have big plans for the club, they were very positive and are very nice people.
"We're really happy to have them involved and to be involved with them.
"They have the best interests of the club at heart and they are people who are passionate and just as passionate as anybody about this football club, so it's a positive situation for us."
