Roberts insists morale no issue at Blackburn

Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts insists morale is strong at Ewood Park.

Rovers are hovering dangerously close to the dropzone.

But striker Roberts told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Everyone is 100 per cent united in our cause and I think you could see that in our performance against Fulham.

"It was a performance that was never lacking in effort, we were all pulling in the same direction and it would have been a credible point.

"Without a doubt we are all fully behind the manager. Steve Kean has come in and is someone who is respected by every single one of us.

"We are disappointed we couldn't have got more results for him on the pitch and we have to take responsibility as players. Certainly we see Saturday a real opportunity to put it right."
