Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts has revealed the club's senior players made sure Sam Allardyce's absence did not affect their performance for their victory at Bolton Wanderers.
It was their first away win for the season.
Roberts said: "We were told about it the day before the game in a very understated way. He talked about it and then went on to the tactics.
"But in that situation you can let yourself have an excuse going into a game or let it drive you on, and it drove us on at Bolton.
"We were just as motivated as always and that will be the case at Fulham. We have senior players here that will make sure of that."
