Roberto Rios is being linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion.
Pepe Mel could bring trusted No 2 Rios to West Brom in the summer.
Rios told The Sun on Sunday: "I cannot hide my dream. I want to experience the Premier League and work with Pepe at West Brom.
"But we have to wait until the end of the season because any chance to work there will depend on how Albion finish.
"West Brom has an organisation in place regarding staff. The circumstances are what they are and I have to respect the way things unfolded.
"I want the directors, fans and players happy with my friend Pepe because I would love to see the door of the club open for me."
