Roberto Carlos: I'm happy for all I've achieved at Real Madrid

Roberto Carlos was relatively calm last night as he celebrated Real Madrid's championship triumph.

The Brazilian is leaving for Fenerbahce and said: "I'm calm. I prefer to be like this so I can see the fans and my Real Madrid teammates enjoying this success.

"They deserve everything. I believe that it is the most important day for all the Madridismo and it is the moment to enjoy yourself.

"Mallorca played a very serious game and I believe that we produced one of the best performances of the season. I am very satisfied, although somewhat tired.

"We had many critics in the first four or five months of the championship. The team wasn't playing well and we were in poor form. But we have improved and everyone has learned a lot. In fact, for this campaign I have learned a great deal.

"I am happy for everything I've achieved at Real Madrid, although a little sad to be now leaving. But I'm not the only who's going away, there's also Becks (David Beckham), (Francisco) Pavon, Diego Lopez ..."
