Roberto Carlos is delighted seeing Marcelo impressing at Real Madrid this season.
The Corinthians star credits Real coach Jose Mourinho for Marcelo's success.
"Mourinho has found a great wing-back. He has given Marcelo great confidence and the player is responding to a high level," said Roberto Carlos, who also backed Raul's decision to leave Real.
"He did very well with that choice. He needs to feel important and Schalke is a good decision."
