"You want a little bit more time but that's where you are as a player. But I think the gaffer is slowly but surely bringing me into it, getting me used to my team-mates, and a team like Ajax is always a hard test for the lads.
"I'm fine on the fitness side of things, it's just match fitness, to try to get that under my belt is the most important thing. There are a couple of games coming up so I'm sure I'll play some part in those to try to get my fitness up."
