Robert Lewandowski closer to Man Utd as Borussia Dortmund try again for Arsenal's Bendtner

Borussia Dortmund are moving for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.

Dortmund tried to sign Bendtner last summer before he moved to Sunderland on-loan and they remain keen after landing their second successive Bundesliga title, says the Daily Mail.

Bendtner would cost around £2.5million and is on wages of £60,000 a week that can rise to £90,000 depending on bonuses.

The Dane could arrive as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, whose agent confirmed the interest of Manchester United this week.
