Laurent Robert has told Newcastle United fans they can expect good things from new fullback Habib Beye.
"He is a fine defender who is very fast and who is very supportive of his frontmen, and most difficult for a winger like me to play against.
"I often came up against him when I was with Paris St Germain and he played for Strasbourg, and I always found him a difficult opponent.
"He is as fast a full-back as I have ever faced, and that will stand him in good stead in the Premier League."
