Arjen Robben has been lauded by Holland manager Bert van Marwijk for his performance in the 2-1 Round of 16 win over Slovakia on Monday.
The Bayern Munich star returned from injury to net the opener in the victory and his presence was welcomed by van Marwijk who believes he is a vital player for his side.
"I am so pleased that Robben is fit again," said Van Marwijk. "He was decisive for us.
"It was important that he played for 70 minutes and I think for him he has just passed that fear factor having recently returned from injury."
