Arjen Robben is putting in extra work at training as he targets this week's clash with Almeria as being his Real Madrid debut.

While coach Bernd Schuster gave his players the weekend off, former Chelsea winger Robben did a double-session on Saturday and also had a morning session yesterday.

Robben signed for Real carrying a knee injury and only started working with the ball on Thursday. However, all signs are that Schuster will be able to call on him for this weekend's Liga meeting with Almeria.
