Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben admits they're keen not to see Wayne Rooney on Manchester United's team sheet tomorrow night.

All of Bayern is hoping Rooney fails to recover from his ankle problem to play for the home side.

"I am desperate to play. It was really hard for me to sit and watch the last game without being able to get on the pitch," said Robben.

"We just hope Rooney does not make it as he is so important for United."
