River Plate have control of the future of Juan Quintero.

The Colombia is on-loan at River from Porto and can be signed outright for €3.75m before December 31.

Tottenham and Real Madrid are interested in Quintero, but River president Rodolfo D'Onofrio insists they will have the final say on his future.

"He said he was well in River, and then they asked him if he wanted to go back to Europe, let's not get that out of context," he said.

"Quintero is happy with River because of the way he played and caught the attention of the Colombian national team.

"If anyone wants to hire him, he has to pay a clause above $25 million."
