Argentine radio reports state Abelairas' representatives have been in contact with Seattle about a loan move to MLS.

The midfielder also has interest from a Mexican club, though is unimpressed by the terms and favours a move to Seattle.

Abelairas has won a title at River. In 89 games he has scored 11 goals.
