River Plate close deal for Napoli keeper Navarro

River Plate are closing an agreement with Napoli for goalkeeper Nicolas Navarro.

Telam says Navarro joins the Argentine giants on a season-long loan with the view to a permanent deal.

The young shot-stopper said: "River is a club with a great history and everyone would like to play for such a club.

"The agreement took a long time because Napoli did not want to lose me."
