Manchester United are outright favourites to sign Southampton fullback Luke Shaw.
The Daily Star says rival clubs chasing Southampton's Shaw are starting to look elsewhere for a left-back.
That is because there is a growing acceptance that Manchester United are in pole position to sign the Saints starlet.
Shaw's preferred destination, if he is to leave the Saints, is understood to be Old Trafford.
