Rivaldo on target for Bunyodkor in win over Pakhtakor
Former Brazil star Rivaldo helped Bunyodkor to a season-opening win in the Uzbekistan League on Sunday.
The ex-Barcelona star netted in the 18th minute of the clash with arch-rivals Pakhtakor before Macedonian striker Stevica Ristic made it 2-0 with just over 20 minutes remaining.
Bojan Miladinovic got one back for his side ion the 78th minute but it was enough to overcome Luiz Felipe Scolari’s men who are out to defend their league title this season.
