Ritchie de Laet has hopes of extending his Manchester United career.

The defender reportedly mutually agreed to a termination of his loan spell at Norwich because the Canaries are keen to make another loan addition and he faces at least another six weeks out through injury.

"I have a season to go after this but I'll meet in the summer with Sir Alex and discuss his plans," he says. "Who knows, he may need me because he has a lot of injured players."
