Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has ruled out moving for Villarreal midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme.

Villarreal's interest in Juve outcast Tiago has sparked speculation of a swap involving Argentina international Riquelme. But the midfield schemer's infamous work-rate isn't high enough for Ranieri, who has quickly ruled out the prospect of adding the player to his squad.

Instead, says Controcampo, Juve will seek to lower Lokomotiv Moscow's asking price for defender Branislav Ivanovic by including Tiago in their offer.
