Boca Juniors star Juan Roman Riquelme has cooled suggestions of a move to Newcastle United.

The 30-year old Argentine has reportedly been targeted by the Magpies but insists he is happy at his current club.

"I am happy at my home and I want to play for many years at Boca," Riquelme told Fox Sports Radio Del Plata.

"In Europe I had a year at Barcelona that wasn't so good and after that I had four and a half years at Villarreal as good as at Boca."
