Egidio Arevalo Rios is set to leave Palermo in January, despite impressing this season.

Rios scored his debut Serie A goal, but has since dropped down the pecking order.

"The player is struggling to find space and I think he has personal problems, as his girlfriend can't get a permit to stay in Italy," said Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini.

"Will he be going to Bologna in January? He'd form a great midfield partnership with Diego Perez."
