Mexican sources are confirming early speculation that the new Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah will host the first hexagonal qualifier between USA and Mexico on February 11th 2009. ESTO is reporting the venue has been confirmed. With a smaller than usual capacity for a World Cup qualifier, Rio Tinto, the new home of Real Salt Lake, is a surprise choice and has not yet been confirmed by US Soccer.
