Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard offered no excuses after his team lost 2-0 at little Getafe last night.
"We tried to play our way, but it did not work again. I believe that it is something that only the trainer can solve, I will look for a solution. The difference between playing at home and away is too great," said Rijkaard.
"The forwards from the beginning had a good mentality, good attitude, but the team did not work. We must look for something different to play away from home.
"I saw good organization, but beyond the midfield line we did not do damage to them. The losses of the ball, against a team that wants to counter-attack, were the beginning of our problems."
Getafe striker Ikechukwu Uche fired more shots on Victor Valdes' goal than the entire Barca team and Rijkaard added: "We created too few chances in attack. It's an indicator that we didn't threaten enough."
Valdes added: "Getafe deserved to win. They played to get the three points and deserved it. They were a tough opponent in every sense."
