And Rijkaard intends to have Johan Neeskens as his No2 after working with his fellow Dutchman at Barca. Neeskens has a release clause in his Holland coaching contract should Rijkaard find himself a new job.

One of the first bids Rijkaard will make as new Milan coach will be for Barca captain Carles Puyol, who has been a long-term target for the Rossoneri.
