The Dutchman was linked with a move to the Blues after his compatriot joined the coaching staff at Stamford Bridge this week, but he has refuted all the rumours.

Avram Grant is currently in charge, but is not expected to keep the post once the Blues identify a world class coach to take over.

One certainty though, according to the Blaugrana boss, is that he will not be leaving the Catalan giants any time soon.

"I have nothing to do with Ten Cate signing for Chelsea," Rijkaard told Marca.

"I have nothing to do with this news.

"I am the coach of Barcelona and I am thinking about nothing else."
