Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard was delighted with their 2-0 victory at Real Mallorca last night.

Rafael Marquez headed Barca into an early second-half lead before Samuel Eto'o wrapped up the points late on with a superb individual effort.

"We won at a very difficult ground against an uncomfortable opponent. Additionally, I think the playing field, which was very dry, did not favor our style of play," said Rijkaard.

"We always have to stick with the philosophy of our game, to be attractive, but at this stage of the season it is clear that the results and the points are very important to us.

"You always prefer a combination of attractive football and three points, but with good attitude and fighting from everyone on the field."
