John Arne Riise feels Adel Taarabt can help Fulham away from the dropzone.
The midfielder is on-loan at Fulham from QPR.
Riise said: "We know he is a player who likes to get the ball and hold on to it and create stuff on his own.
"Berbatov can keep the ball as well, but Adel did brilliantly and I am happy for him because he works hard in training and it is not easy to play when a new manager comes in.
"He hasn't played in the last few games and then he came in and did brilliantly. The team now has more options and things are looking good for the next few games."
