Fulham winger Bjorn Helge Riise has revealed manager Roy Hodgson wants to play him centrally.

"Hodgson has said that I am also competing for a place a little bit more in the centre of the midfield," he said.

"We have only played three games. It is a long season. I will get my chances and want to get on the pitch as soon as possible."
