John Arne Riise is delighted his commitment has been repaid at Fulham.

Riise appeared on his way out before Rene Meulensteen was appointed as new manager.

He said: "I went almost four months without playing and that is very frustrating for a player who has played almost every game his whole career.

"I could have moaned and not trained well but I kept my head down and worked hard. I have got that enjoyment back now and really love playing football here."
