John Arne Riise is excited about the future at Liverpool.

He told Liverpoolfc.tv: "These are exciting times for the club. We've got new owners and new players, and there is a real buzz about the place. I'm very happy with the way things are going and really looking forward to the start of the season.

"Everyone gets a buzz when the club signs a big player and it's been no different this summer. We've signed four big players and although it might take them some time to settle I'm sure they'll all be a success.

"We've done well in the friendly games that we've played so far but I don't think you've seen the best of us yet."
