Rigters considers Blackburn loan exit

Maceo Rigters is considering his options at Blackburn Rovers.

The 23-year-old told Dutch newspaper BN/De Stem he was finding life on the sidelines difficult.

"Of course that is frustrating," said Rigters. "But there are some very good players before me and when the club wins four games in a row, you know that you still have to wait for a chance."

Rigters hopes to get his chance in the coming weeks and was encouraged by a recent chat with Blackburn boss Mark Hughes.

He said: "Hughes told me that I have simply been unlucky and that the other strikers are doing so well. So who knows? I might be playing games in a couple of weeks."

However, Rigters would like to move on if he does not get a starting berth soon.

He said: "If that is not the case, I want to see the club loan me out as soon as possible. But I am not thinking about that yet."
