The rift between Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is growing wider.
Diario Gol says tension has always existed between the senior duo, but it has been exacerbated this season after Ronaldo lost more of his allies over the summer market.
The relationship is now deteriorating, with cliques developing inside the locker room.
Behind Ramos is Real's Spanish contingent, including youngsters Isco and Marcos Asensio. Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente and Jesus Vallejo are also in their corner.
Meanwhile, those behind Ronaldo are Marcelo, Casemiro, Keylor Navas, Karim Benzema and Rafa Varane.
A third group keep to themselves, though there's suggestions that clique is splintering: Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic.
Modric was seen dining with Ramos, Isco and Asensio last week on the invitation of the captain. It's suggested with doubts over Modric's future, Ramos has assured the Croatian of his full support.
