Albert Riera insists the Spanish contingent at Liverpool are all determined to communicate in English.
"I say always the same," Riera told Setanta Sports. "We came here, not the opposite. We have to learn here and improve with the football.
"Here we are not in Spain, we are here, need to learn here and to speak in English here because we speak in Spanish a lot of time.
"The boss says we have to speak in English, it's normal we have to adapt here not the opposite.
"But it's true we know each other and on the pitch it's very important, not only Spanish, but we have to be as a team and I think all people can see on the pitch we are as a team not only a small group and all the Spanish players.
"I think it's all players and that's very important."
