Liam Ridgewell was delighted to be part of West Bromwich Albion's thrashing of Wolves.
The left-back made an impressive debut in Sunday's 5-1 derby drubbing at Wolves following his deadline-day move to Albion in January.
"I found out I was playing on the day of the game when we met up at the training ground," said Ridgewell on the WBA website.
"I was just ready to go.
"I came in January and it is always difficult to change a team, especially one that did well down at Fulham.
"But I was ready to take my chance and hopefully show people what I can do.
"It was a good start and hopefully I can carry that on."
