Ridgewell certain of West Brom survival

West Bromwich Albion defender Liam Ridgewell is convinced that the club will remain in the Premier League next season.

The Baggies sit 14th on the table following their recent 5-1 Black Country derby victory over Wolves and new boy Ridgewell believes the fighting spirit of the squad will ensure survival in the top flight.

"With this team and the capabilities of the side we can get away from trouble," he told the Shropshire Star.

"We just need to make sure we keep going. There are teams that have been brilliant that have gone down.

"But if we keep performing like we did against Wolves, we'll be alright.

"We've just got to try and buck up that home form and get that going."
