Bolton Wanderers fullback Sam Ricketts admits they owe their fans a top performance.

Gary Megson has threatened to make several changes to the side that was humbled at Aston Villa last time out, and Ricketts accepts that the players owe their supporters a performance with local pride at stake this weekend against Blackburn Rovers.

"All derbies are big games and it's bragging rights as much as anything," he said. "It's putting one over on your local rivals and the players feel that as much as the fans."
