Manchester City defender Micah Richards is ready to sign a new deal with the club according to skysports.com.
The 23-year old right-back is committed to the Eastlands club for a while already but the clubs hierarchy want to secure him to a long-term deal.
It is believed that Richards, who came up through City's youth academy, is keen to remain at Etihad Stadium and now that all the summer transfer business has been taken care of, it seems as though a deal will soon be completed so he can stay with the Blues for the next major portion of his career.
