Richards says Man City boosted by return of Toure brothers

Manchester City defender Micah Richards says they're stronger for the return of the Toure brothers.

Like the rest of the dressing room, he’s delighted Yaya is back from Ivory Coast duties in the Africa Nations Cup.

“It’s always nice to have Yaya and Kolo back,” he told the Manchester Evening News.

“Yaya has been a miss for us, but we have done well without him as well. Players have come in and done exceptionally well. We’re happy with how we’ve done, but it’s great to have him back. He’s like a new signing.

“He gives us a real boost. We all know how good Yaya is – and Kolo too. Don’t forget Kolo. He’s been a massive player for us too. But when Vincent and Joleon are doing so well, it’s going to be hard for him to break in.”
