Micah Richards will make Manchester City's UEFA Cup campaign after recovering from knee surgery.

England defender Richards featured for 77 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Ukrainians Metalurg Zaporizhya at City's training camp in Germany.

Richards, 20, is now available for the Blues' UEFA qualifier against EB Streymur in the Faroe Islands on Thursday.

England Under-21 defender Nedum Onuoha also managed 77 minutes in the behind-closed-doors friendly.

Onuoha, 21, dislocated his shoulder last season but is fit for the UEFA trip.
