Manchester City defender Micah Richards admits he's been amazed by the club's transformation.

Richards joined City as a 14 year-old whole they were in the old 'First Division'.

"Obviously having been there since I was 14 - 10 years now - it means so much to everyone at the club," Richards told the Manchester Evening News.

"Some players have been winning medals every season of their career. I've been at City all that time and there were times when the club wasn't even in the Premier League.

"Fortunately they were in the top flight when I made my debut but to see the club come so far in such a short space of time is just unbelievable."
