Riccardo Saponara hopes to nail down a regular place at AC Milan next season.

The attacking midfielder is arriving in co-ownership with Empoli.

"I was happy in the trequartista role which I was used in at Empoli," the 21-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.

"I think that could be the role where I can deliver the most. Saying that, I'm ready to be used in any position.

"I am at the total disposal of the club and I want to grow with the utmost humility.

"I did struggle with consistency in the past, but I improved under that aspect in the last campaign which saw me earn the attention of the Rossoneri."
